Overview - The scenario
The BBC, in association with the Recycle Now organisation, are looking to develop a cross platform series of games, videos and animated stories to promote and raise the profile of recycling amongst young people (it is up to you to identify an age range).
They are looking for ideas for characters to be used during the development of this project, the only specific requirement for your character is that it is not human but an anthropomorphised animal or object.
They would like to see a full digital documentation of your progress through a comprehensive blog alongside a series of concept drawings and visual representations of the characters you have developed.
These proposed characters should also have a rationale that explains their evidence.

Into Reality

i chose this because i want young people to look at my design and have a connection with it not just let it wash over their heads. i like the cuteness and innocence of the kitten but also that a kitten grows up and becomes a cat, seemingly harmless but can damage the people.
With this i like that the can has been cut in half making it small and disfigured, i then realise i like how "frayed" and "tattered" look its different meaning that when its first looked at one needs to double check to make sure they know what they are seeing.
My cat Tiger, I like this image as it shows her in her natural self  caught off guard and surprised it makes you smile and is light and fun. it is also cute and fun.
What i like about this one is that it is half of a can on a normal ripped piece of paper. it is weird turning it around is a strange feeling and once seen is memorable and is not quickly forgotten. It also looks like something anyone could find which appeals to me because its "normal".
This is Ruby. What i like about that she is in a human surrounding but is still very typical dog: tongue hanging out, dragging ears, etc. I like her open mouth and that she is in a work human environment.
What i like about this is that its very simple just a few pieces of paper scrumppled up some flat ready to be used others balled together as if they have been used and thrown away. I like the contrast between old/used and new/shiny, boring vs exciting.
I have looked at squirrels. what i like about them is that they are cute but feisty. and have a slightly menacing look to them. This is one of the animals i would definitely consider this as maybe to be used in my design.
This i found in my school, although not a design idea i like how average and scruffy it looks simply pointing at the bin and has no emotion in the writing (except for the bright pink) while the bin is covered in paint and graffiti.
With this i like the crushed can. The can is not artistically crushed but just like someone has stamped on it carelessly not wanting it, throwing it away. However the colors are still bright and happy of a can that used to be.
A donkey in Sussex, what i like about this is that its funny and weird. I like how disproportionate the features are because of the angle and the very grey coloring but seemingly vibrant.
Sky at dusk. what i like about this one is that the sky looks so beautiful however you can tell that a darkness is coming, e.g something bad and scary, something that can affect everyone and everything.
Here is some water in Scotland, what i like about this is that there is so much depth to the picture and the top layer is not the same every section is different and interesting.
My final research was into the more plant life and how spiky and dangerous it looks but around there are these beautiful flowers that radiate over the rest. all the layers and buds only add to what could looks hard and scary can have a soft, kind inside.
