Writing a Brief... The beginning

Target Audience
- 8 to 11
- I picked this age range because its the age where children think they are old and cool but actually are still very young

Form and Style
- For Form and Style I would like the characters to come across almost quite grown up but with the element of childhood and fun.

Character Design
- I am planning on using a three character piece. I am planning on creating a good character and a bad character, the bad character is rather alone while the good character has his side kick.

- The bad character will be the red squirrel as he is much more spiky and scary. The red squirrel is a lot more gritty and unappealing the complete opposite to the grey cuddly squirrel.

The grey squirrel is a lot more cuddly with big innocent eyes, he is the hero in my story along with his sidekick.

- The mouse is the sidekick of the story he is loyal but a bit dim. He is rather fat and always makes bad jokes but he stands by the grey squirrel no matter what.

Scenery
- For my scenery I am going to explore a urban street filled with rubbish and at one end the Red Squirrel lives with all his evil plans on the other end the Grey Squirrel and the Mouse who are always trying to defeat the Red Squirrel and clear up all the rubbish!

Ways of Working
- I am planning on working with illustrator, Photoshop, and hand  drawings and sketches.
